Error 2526 upon attempting to print

What is this and how do I fix it? The application brings up the print dialogue, but when I hit the PRINT, get the 2526 error.

. I now have tried reinstalling the application, after getting a new registration code, and still get the error.

I worked it out- unlike any of my other programs, this seems to require a direct printer connection rather than networked.
